Hi Gents,
Happy New Year to all who visit this site!
I have really enjoyed putting this together over the last couple of years and hope to continue for a few more if enough of you remain interested in what is posted!
I have noticed a few new faces to the followers list so thanks for joining this small band as we venture into 2013.I was hoping to show off some more Italian wars figures but they have not arrived yet from the painter so these will have to wait till later.
I painted up some Redoubt pontoons yesterday so some pics of these filled with French Napoleonic is the order of the day seen here in all their glory crossing a river somewhere in Spain!
| I am going to work on the terrain this year I need more water sections. |
| The good thing with the pontoons is that they are easy to paint. |
| Storming party amongst the first to cross. |
| You may remember the pontoon figures from an earlier post. |
| Battalions awaiting the return of the ferry, |
| These chaps start to build another bridge. |
| Officer calming the troops. |
| Bit of rough water. |
| A chaotic scene. |
| keen to get at the enemy |
| patiently waiting for their turn. |
| Nauchatel battalion hit the other side. |
And on they come.
The only down side to the set up is that I now have to put all the toys back in the cabinet but not tonight!
Once again thanks for all your comments and support for the blog.
Best wishes
Willie |
