French based.

Hi gents,

Got these back the other week after being re based ,I have decided that the French will be based 3 ranks deep as per a suggestion by the war office have to say I was a bit unsure at first, but now I think it looks just right.Quite a few French battalions arriving to the collection this weekend and possibly more Spanish buildings from Touching History if Paul finishes these.
Perry figures.
Having the French based 3 ranks deep.
Will have some extra voltigers singlely based.

These painted by Dave Jarvis
Buildings in the back ground by Touching History.
More at the weekend.
Cheers Willie

    1. Steve,
I have a room just for the figures 12 cabinets full at present with around 50+ box files containing the overspill. hope to add another 7 cabinets this year now I have found some new ones!

  2. Regardless of their basing (numbers-wise) they are stunning figures. No one would disallow them on the battlefield. Best, Dean

    1. Simon,
I wasn't to sure to begin with but have to say I like the depth it gives ,also makes columns really look packed!

    2. Over-engineering, like 3 deep, is very much the sort of daft idea I also go for. ;-) Presumably you'll base the Brits 2 deep (maybe with a few sergeants at the back)?
