Roman bridge building

Hi guys,
I was considering posting another batch of the Italian war collection pics that I took the other day but rememberd that the War office had sent down some Romans that hadn't had an airing so here they are.
I added some scenics to these this afternoon and pulled some other bits and peices together.

Romans building a bridge over troubled water.

The war office did these to supplement the collection painted by James Roach.

Shield designs by LBM, rendra tents other bits and pieces by Phil Olley.

Veiw across the river bank a load of Gauls.

Gauls from Renegade great looking figures in my opinion.

Again LBM transfers.

I spent this afternoon adding scenics to the base's of these.

At least the work party are coming back to a good meal!

Great how you can use lots of different peices to fill out the camp that can carry over to other eras.

More of this afternoons handy work which includes grave stones made out of lolly sticks defense works that you see here and more bridge work you may have noticed the Romans still have a way to go.
Best wishes
Willie
