Hi gents,
I got the brushes out on Friday night and painted this figure from Foundry,I have to say that this is one of my all time favourite figures from the Foundry range.
The figure is painted as a Templar knight which takes me back to those timpo knights I had as a kid happy memories, seems to be nostalgia week for me!

Foundry Barons war figure. |
|
I wish the Perry's would add some more figures to their Crusades
range wearing this sort of style. |
|
The figure in the green is the same figure converted and given a mount. |
|
The figure at the back is also a foot conversion. |
|
Perversely this is the army that I most want in my collection but for some reason still only have it in 15mm!
With the advent of all the new shield transfers I was hoping that this would see an explosion of medieval figures but seems to be happening slowly.
Best wishes

I love him! I too, have a fondness for the Timpo toys of yesteryear and spent far too much time and money putting back together a collection from my youth. There are pictures on the old blog if interested.
