Hi gents,
Happy new year to you all a few pics of the Crusade collection I have now picked up the terrain from TM but will have to wait until I get the lighting right to show this off properly.I did want to show this off before Christmas but after reading about the sad passing of Captain Richards whose blog was one of my personal favourites I couldn't bring myself to post until now I will really miss his creativity.

This small village is part of the large set up, |
One of my favourite units of 2014 |
Villages like this were pillaged at will, |
Each side as bad as the other |
An appeal for a jihad |
The Sultan gave the go ahead to preach the holy war. |
Looking for volunteers |
Many answered the call |
On the horns of Hattin |
Outnumbered |
In 1187 a fatal blow is delivered on the Horns of Hattin |
This will lead to the 3rd Crusade |
The Carrion have their prey |
A huge amount to come this year so drop by when you get a chance Best wishes Willie |
Beautiful figures and a wonderful collection, have a great new year Willie!
ReplyDeleteHuh, I was going to say that!
ReplyDeleteStill, have a good 2015 and more power to your elbow with the collection.
There is action aplenty and many stories to be told in these photos, Willie. Nice!

Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteWow, that is some top notch work!
ReplyDeleteFantastic as always! Great colors, pictures, figures and scenery...we will begin Crusades this year in our club, hope it will look like that! Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteHave to say it's great to see a new post from you. The pics are great, as always, and I really can't wait to see your finished Harbor and Walled City of Acre, which I've glimpsed over on the TM Terrain Facebook page, truly come to life with your figures spread across its full expanse. I predict that will be one of the highlights of 2015 as far as Miniature Wargame blogging is concerned.
ReplyDeleteHAPPY NEW YEAR, Willie, and thanks for so many wonderful posts!
