Sikh regular lancers from foundry. |
Veiw from behind the British lines. |
foundry figures painted by the War Office. |
Picked up the terrain tiles from Tss at Carronade spent the last couple of nights altering these to add the river I think it turned out ok. |
Horse guns one of my best units. |
Perry figures rushing past some touching history buildings. |
The other side of the river. |
The varnish on the river section took an age to dry boats in the background by scheltrum. |
About two thirds of this collection on the table. |
After spending the time on the terrain my hats of to terrain makers all over its a lot harder than it looks and a lot messier. |

Paul,
ReplyDeleteDidn't count but emptied one of the cabinets which holds aprox 1000 plus a couple of hundred from box files.I think I have around 1700-1800 figures in this collection which is now heading into the mutiny.I am not looking forward to puting them all away again I think thats tomorrow nights task.
Cheers
Willie
Excellent! That is one impressive looking table and figures!
ReplyDeleteThanks for that K I had the figures done last year the terrain is only now being attended to for all the collections so plenty to add over the coming months..
ReplyDeleteHi Willie, the river looks great - I can imagine the effort it took to get it right. I need this kind of inspiration; I'm thinking of doing river terrain sections that I can use for my ancients, and you've given me some ideas.
ReplyDeleteCheers!
Paul
